All Saints Church gave every child in school a booklet called ‘It Begins in Bethlehem’ at Christmas. They were from the Bible Society.  The children enjoyed reading these it was a lovely gesture from our local church.  

Each year we like to mark the start of advent with our Christingle service in All Saints Church.  The service is led by our collective worship committee through prayers and readings.  The after school twilight service is open to children and their families and is the perfect start to Christmas.

It has been a delight to further our strong bond with All Saints church and the wider North Lafford Benefice supporting a Messy Church. We have enjoyed the visits of the Open the Book team into our Collective Worship and support Messy Church which offers a monthly session of fun, craft, songs and a bible story hosted at The Winchelsea Centre.  Themes Messy Church has focussed on has been the story of Noah and a second on helping one another through the story of the Good Samaritan. Families across the community are welcome to attend on the second Saturday of every month at The Winchelsea Centre. Watch out for Facebook details of the next Messy Church.
