At Ruskington Chestnut Street CofE Primary Academy, we value music as a vital part of a broad and inspiring curriculum. Our aim is for all children to experience a wide range of musical styles, and by Year 6 be confident in performing, composing and understanding how music is created and communicated. Through weekly lessons using Kapow, pupils develop skills in listening, singing, playing and performing, building progressively each year. Enrichment opportunities such as choir, instrument lessons and performances further enhance learning.
