We are delighted to have our Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog Bear the St Bernard back in school.  Bear visits our school on Monday afternoons along with his owner Jo. 

The Read2Dogs scheme is provided by Pets as Therapy to help to improve literacy skills and well-being in young people by developing their confidence, interest and enjoyment in reading.  Bear can help boost a pupil’s motivation and morale as when Bear is read to he is a great listener, he encourages positive social behaviours, can enhance self-esteem and inspire pupils to relax and have fun!
