At Ruskington Chestnut Street Primary Academy, we believe Design and Technology inspires creativity, curiosity and problem‑solving. Our curriculum enables children to design, make and evaluate products with real purpose, using a wide range of materials and practical skills. From EYFS to Year 6, pupils learn through well‑planned projects, including food technology, while developing key skills linked to maths, science, computing and art. Children are encouraged to be innovative, reflective and resilient as they explore how products are created and improved. By Year 6, pupils leave with confidence, technical understanding and valuable life skills that prepare them for the future.
