In our Year 3/4 classes we aim to create independent learners who strive to meet their true potential whilst knowing that they have the full support of all of the adults and their friends to achieve that.
The children will take part in many different learning opportunities to ensure they have a wide range of experiences both in and outside the classroom.
We always welcome parent helpers in our classes so feel free to get in contact and we will find some time for you to come in and see what we are up to.
Children will require a PE kit for both indoors and outdoors. If possible a tracksuit or jogging bottoms would be useful when we are outdoors. Plimsolls are suitable for indoors and trainers are suitable for outdoors.
3/4W - Indoor PE is Monday and Tuesday.
3/4GM - Swimming on Monday Tuesday outdoor PE.
3/4M - Indoor PE on a Monday and outdoor on a Tuesday.
Year 3/4 have really enjoyed learning about different decades of dancing in PE.
Each term the children will be given homework that is related to the topic we are looking at in class. Homework is a fun and hands-on opportunity for the children to explore the topic further. We often share and celebrate any super homework that the children bring in with the rest of the class.
Please message the class teacher for any questions regarding homework.
Term 2 Church School Value - Trust
Term 3- Mighty Metals
Throughout this topic we will be learning all about metals, magnets and forces. We will also be looking at different ways of sketching, drawing and using a range of materials. In ICT we will be looking at the SMART rules and the best ways to stay safe online. We have a special visitor coming in to teach us all about Hinduism.
