We are coming to the end of our Anglo Saxons and Vikings learning.

PSHE

 

This term we are learning about 'Celebrating difference' as part of our PSHE learning.

We are all different and unique but all special at the same time. 

 

PE

 

Silver Birch - Monday 

Children can come into school in their school uniform with their PE kit in a separate bag to change later in the day.

 

Willow - Wednesday 

The children will continue to come to school in their school PE kit (red/ white top and black shorts). They can wear jogging bottoms if they wish and bring a hoodie (black or blue preferably). As we are swimming, the children need to bring their kit in an additonal bag. (towel, swimming clothing, swim hat and goggles if they wish)

 

 

 

 

Homework and reading

All children have an English and Maths homework book to work through. 

We expect one workout for each subject completed per week. 

These are to be brought back to school on each Friday where they will be marked together. 

 

Additionally, to this the children can practice their timetables on TTRockstars as well as using spelling shed to practice their spellings.

 

We would like the children to read with an adult at least 3 times a week. 

Spelling

We have weekly spellings that we would like the children to practice on Spelling Shed from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. The children will complete their spelling test on Tuesday morning. 

 

The children are given a list of words in school on Wednesday that they use as part of their morning work daily to help practice their spellings.
