At Ruskington Chestnut Street CofE Primary Academy children learn through relevant experiences that link around carefully chosen themes and each theme is used as a vehicle for delivering the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) development statements in a creative and meaningful way, enabling them to grow. 

The children are able to make connections between all their learning and also still meet the individual requirements of different subjects as outlined in the National Curriculum/EYFS.  We endeavour to foster a life-long love of learning, through adopting a highly practical and cross-curricular approach, via our vision - Care - Believe - Grow.
