Residential (Y6 PGL)
Our Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to take part in a 3-day residential, educational adventure activity course at PGL Caythorpe Court Centre near Grantham we usually go in the summer term.
PGL is the UK’s leading Outdoor Education provider, delivering inspirational learning through adventure. At Caythorpe there is over 65 acres of space for the children to enjoy, packed full of adventure activities on land and water. From high ropes to the giant swing, each challenge will help pupils reach further and achieve more.
Residential courses organised by the school are an optional, but invaluable part of the Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and we feel certain that the programme which we have chosen for next year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile. The programme includes a range of outdoor and adventurous activities, such as abseiling, orienteering and climbing.
