Collective Worship Council

Collective Worship Council Members

Our Collective Worship Council plan and lead Collective Worships in school. They meet together, discuss ideas and prepare their resources.

Children in Year 5 and Year 6 record their own 'I wonder...' questions based on the Collective Worship they have taken part in or has been led by the council or adults in school. The Collective Worship Councillors pick one of these 'I wonder...' questions to take back to class and discuss with their peers. The aim of this is to promote engagement in Collective Worship and give pupils the opportunity to reflect, share and discuss their own ideas.

Children across school are given the opportunity to write a prayer which they would like shared as part of a Collective Worship.

We evaluate our Collective Worships and use these evaluations to help us improve what we are doing.
