At Ruskington Chestnut Street C of E Primary Academy, we welcome everybody into our school family within the community. We believe that every child should reach or exceed their potential. We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all pupils whatever their needs or abilities. Not all pupils with disabilities have special educational needs and vice versa. This offer applies to all pupils with either SEN, a disability or both. We are committed to narrowing the attainment gap between SEND and non-SEND students. We believe that the needs of an individual child are ‘key’ to their learning success.
The school will always work in close partnership with parents, agencies and the children as well as a keeping parents fully informed at every stage once we have identified a need for further support. This could be for educational, personal, social or physical needs. This support may be short or long term and is reviewed regularly.
We have good attendance at Ruskington Chestnut Street C of E Primary Academy, as students want to come to school to experience our high-quality learning environment and thrive within our vibrant learning community.
