One to One Teaching Assistant

We are a good school and are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hard-working and motivated person to work as part of our team. The post on offer, is as follows:
A 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support child in EYFS with an educational health care plan for 25 hours per week. Working hours are between 8.45am-3.15am daily (incorporating morning break and lunch). The child to be supported has been diagnosed with social, communication needs (ASD) and experiences challenges linked to learning, attention and focus control. Once a trusting relationship is developed, working with the child will be very rewarding.
Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable although not essential as is experience of the early years. A willingness to try a variety of strategies as well as the ability to work as part of our friendly team is essential.
The post is temporary dependent on the needs of the child, or the child leaving school.
